New Commandments
This is a bit off topic, but I came across an article in the Toronto Star a couple of weeks ago about a new set of Commandments the Catholic Church (in time for Easter) drew up that includes modern issues that are part of our popular culture. Some of these issues we discussed in class:
1. bioethic violations (cloning, stem cell research)
2. morally dubious experiments
3. drug abuse
4. polluting the environment
5. contributing to the divide between the rich and the poor
6. excessive wealth
7. creating poverty
